Elspeth (Eppie)HATWOOD(née Byrne) (Chester Le Street) Elspeth passed peacefully in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, on 2nd March 2025, aged 95 years.
Devoted Wife of the late John and dearly loved Mam of Glen. Elspeth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Requiem Mass to take place on Tuesday 8th April at St Cuthberts R.C. Church, Ropery Lane, Chester Le Street, on Tuesday 8th April at 1pm, followed by committal at Birtley Crematorium at 2:30pm.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, in Elspeth's memory, may be left on the day with proceeds going The Alzheimer's Society. A donation box will be available at Church.
Following the Mass, all are welcome back to Chester le Street Cricket Club, Ropery Lane, DH3 3PF, from 1:45pm, for an opportunity to continue sharing memories.
